The biggest grade, volumes of conglomeratic rocks and gem ever produced in the district of Diamantina were found on area of extration that includes Cavalo Morto Mine.

With two feasible products, this Project allow for the exploitation of both emeralds and ornamental granite.
Each product is independently feasible, making for two different mine operations with high profitability each.

With the exploration concluded, Ribeirão São José Emeralds Project is a mix project with large reserves of both emerald and alexandrite, presenting in its mineralizations: 50% emeralds, 15% alexandrite, 15% chrysoberyl, 10% corundum, 10% spinel.
Also, there is presence of aquamarine beryls as a subproduct.
